Capture the Fun and Excitement of Your Kid’s Birthday Party

The genuine smiles, laughter, good times: These are the things you would want to keep forever and flip back through after a few years have gone by. Time flies so fast, and sometimes, we just want to immortalize a moment, an event, that is so precious to us. 

We know it would be great to capture these memories through your iPhones and other mobile devices and post it on Instagram later on. That's all great, but smartphone photos will only get you this far! 

We have celebrated our daughter's first birthday last March, and that's an event we would not want to miss to keep memories of. Although it is convenient enough to have the moments captured through our phones, we still employed Magicdow Photography's professional event photography in Singapore for the following reasons: 

They capture all the candid moments. 

We all know that a photographer does more than snap shots from his camera, and it takes more than just an advanced camera to be a good photographer! The package we availed from their birthday photography promo in Singapore included the service of two event photographers at the venue, an album, and a soft copy of the photos. They were there even before the guests came in, so they were able to take photos of the birthday cake, the table arrangements, the backdrop of the stage, and the venue--all the details--without distraction. 

What's amazing is they caught great pictures of the kids and their parents, from when the program started until it ended. I can feel the excitement of the kids, the precious smiles, and the fun of the moment just by looking through the photos! 

They produce high-quality photos. 

This is the main difference of us snapping photos on our phones and them capturing through their gears: the quality. What I noticed is that even though I zoom in through the soft copies of the raw photos that Magicdow Photography gave us, I can see that there's very minimal pixilation and distortion. 

They are very professional. 

Their photographers all have their extensive portfolio. They have done multiple event shoots. In fact, it is their portfolios that made us choose them over the other photography firms in the area. 

Yes, they are professional just by looking at their portfolio. But you might ask me, how are they to work with? Will they give you needless headaches over simple instructions and requests that they miss to follow? Would they take interest in what you have to say or will they just do their own thing because they are “professionals” in what they do? 

I would say they are as professional too! We discussed with them what we want, and they took our inputs seriously. They are very punctual, and they had their gears all prepared even before the party started. 

Since we are mainly shooting with kids because it's my dughter's party, I know I have to hire someone who can get along well with kids. Some photographers just scare kids, you know! But their photographers were very friendly and kind, so when they point the camera to a kid, they get a candid shot effortlessly!
